Baptism is a visible symbol of God’s saving work within a person. It is the outward sign of belonging to the people of God—those who have repented and put their faith in Jesus Christ. You should be baptized if you have repented of your sins and believed in Christ alone for salvation and have not already been baptized as a believer by immersion.
The first step to being baptized at Cross Cultured Church is to attend a Baptism Class.
After completing the Baptism Class and Membership Class, you will be interviewed by an elder. The elder will listen to the story of how the Lord drew you to himself and ask why you would like to be baptized and join Cross Cultured Church.
Upon congregational approval, we will work with you to schedule a Baptism Service. Baptisms are scheduled off-site on a Saturday. Each baptism candidate will briefly share his or her testimony during the service before being baptized.
