Research says yes!
Some people would want to believe that boys and girls are essentially the same until they hit adolescence. They would argue that the hormones are what makes them different. Having majored in biotechnology, I was no different on my convictions.
That all changed when I became a father. My little girl who is just 18 months old is so girly. And this was coming to her naturally. It was not something culturally conditioned on her. I have watched boys too and they seem to be boyish about their behavior and likes.
Did God create us differently, or is the only difference between us one of genitals? Larry Cahill‘s research seems to show that God has designed us differently. The Scientific American published his work in 2005 and can be read here.
I am so thankful to God for making us different and capable for our roles as men and women, fathers and mothers, husbands and wives. Wow, we are designed on purpose!
