Whom God foreknew he also predestined in Christ to be conformed to his image. I agree that it is God being sovereign in predestining whom he foreknew would choose christ.
Hi, i do believe that God takes the initiative for the salvation and Man following that will be saved.
As a matter of fact, there are cases, people do fall back? slide away from the truth as we see in 1Timothy 1:20. Does that mean that people claim to be christian and confess with their mouth that Jesus Christ is Lord by their own effort and will, without the will of God?
Jason, everyone who will be in heaven are saved by the work of Christ and the will of God. Anyone who we will not see there may have claimed to be a Christian and appeared like one but are not known of God.
